Who is Steven Loosle?

I enjoy life, all aspects of it.  I believe there are lessons to learn all around us.  I believe that we all need to help each other through this life, and we are the happiest when we are helping others.

My parents instilled helping others in me at a very early age.  They ran a Hardware store and I worked in it from the time I was 10 until 34.  I loved helping people with their problems.  It didn’t matter if it was a leaky toilet, or they wanted to throw a back year party and needed help getting their grass to grow.

It was also during this time that I learned the value of work.  The harder I worked, the better the business seemed to do.

When I was 20, I decided that I wanted to serve a mission for my church, The Mormons!  I had the great opportunity to help people in eastern Washington and Hermiston Oregon.  I’ve always loved talking to and helping people and seeing people outside my community and helping them both physically and spiritually taught me what is most important in life.

I work as a Solutions Engineer (which means I demo software to Lumber Yards)  for a large corporate employer.  I work hard and they pay me a good salary.  I joke that they pay me to travel for a living as I spend about 1/2 of my time on the road.  I enjoy seeing the different parts of the country and meeting people all around North America.
