How will you #LightTheWorld?
Jesus said: “…I was sick, and ye visited me…”
Many years ago while my small family was still very young and still growing, I was put into a position that I could not fulfill the needs of my family or myself. It was very difficult for me to ask for help. A dear friend from my church was talking to me one day and told me some advice that I will never forget.
He said that “it is more important that we allow people around us to help us than we receive the help.”
Meaning that I because I was trying to do everything on my own, trying to prove that I could go through this difficult trial on my own without help I was depriving my friend and family of the blessing that they would receive by helping me. When we allow others to help us, two lives are blessed!
It is generally the little things in life that help them more. A smile. A visit. A call.
How will you #LightTheWorld?
