Pork and Chicken Adobo
This recipe is from Chzerie Reyes from Guam
Qty | UoM | Ingredient |

1 | Cup | Vinegar |
1 | Head | Garlic |
1/2 | tsp | Black Pepper |
1 | Leaf | Bay Leaf |
2 | tbsp | Rock Salt |
1 to 4 | Tbsp | Soy Sauce |
500 | grams | Chicken - cut into cubes |
1/2 | Kg | Pork, cut into cubes |
1 | whole | Pork Liver - cut into cubes |
1 1/2 to 2 | cups | Water |
Cooking Oil for Frying |
Directions:
- In a saucepan, combine vinegar, garlic, pepper, bay leaf, rock salt, & soy sauce
- Put in chicken, pork, & liver
- Let soak for 20 – 30 minutes
- Add water & simmer uncovered until tender
- Strain sauce, set aside
- Chop liver finely. Combine with sauce. Set aside
- Brown garlic, chicken & pork in cooking oil
- Return everything to saucepan, cover & simmer until sauce thinkens.
